If you can get someone that will help light the lamp for Denis, you get him and go after a goalie in FA. Denis is not the tender that Doug thought he was and I would much rather see Pascal get a chance to prove why he was a high draft pick.

This team needs playmakers or goal scorers. If they continue to lose 3-1 or 2-0, fans will stop showing up.

thats my guess for next year. i went over who is very realistic to sign this summer earlier, but who knows. i think the trade will involve a solid d man or picks at this point.

i told you the deals were getting awful tempting. i look for 2-3 more goaltenders could be dealt. things could get tough for doug to turn down.

Pretty solid lines, but I don't see a whole lot of goals. Nash is a given and Z will get his, but Vybs and Svitov are not proven goal scorers. Of course, a lot depends on who fills the UFA role on your first line....

brule has proven his worth to me in a short time here. thats why that ufa spot is so important.

tampa bay and the canucks are two teams still heavily shopping for a goalie.
