The 2006 PGA Championship--Official Thread
Kicks off this week here in Chicago. They are playing at Medina CC. It will be the longest course a major has ever been played on, eventhough most pros said it is hidden yardage that really wont factor in. They also most long hitters can get away with only have to hit driver 3-4 times a round. So who do you guys like?

The PGA generates a lot of no-name champs (Micheel, Beem, etc., etc.) so it could surprise some folks, but Tiger is certainly in the zone, and has to be the favorite I would think.
I like Lucas Glover as a dark horse.

Definitely could see one of the young stars stepping up this weekend. Tiger is in the zone but something tells me he is going to falter.
Is anyone planning on attending? I am thinking of heading out there on Saturday.

I had tickets lined up for the last six months but just found out that they were given away out from underneath me walnuts???? I'll go saturday if I can get some cheapish tickets.
Glover is a good pick, but he is yet to make a cut in a major this year and his only win was last year at disney. If we are going with dark horse type guys (not the big 5) I will take Weir. He is playing very well this year (no wins though) and had a solid finish the last time they were at Medinah.
