Beckham coming to MLS?

Beckham scored his first goal with the LA Galaxy last night. He also had a nice assist to Landon Donovan. Highlights of the game:

Nice free kick goal, could've scored on a second but the first one was pretty good. When Beckham is in the lineup L.A is a completely different team and it makes everyone around him better.

His first official MLS Start (because the last game was part of the Superliga, played with mexican teams) 2 assists in the first 8 minutes. One off a great free kick to back post and one off a corner. But the Galaxy lost 5-4 in an entertaining game in which 3 players recored a Brace (2 goals) Carlos Pavon for the galaxy and Juan Pablo Angel (who i believe is MLS leading scorer since coming from england) as well as 17 yr old US phenom Jozy Altidore.

After their former coach resigned to become head coach of the expansion San Jose Earthquakes the L.A Galaxy hired former Dutch International Ruud Gullit as head coach. He was a member of the Netherlands lone European Championship in 1988 as well as a part of the last back-to-back European Cup (now UEFA Champions League) champions. He had previous coaching tenures after his playing days but he brings a lot of experience in European club and International play to the MLS.
