Ohio State Women's Golf Announces 2007-08 Schedule
Buckeyes set to face another challenging national competition calendar
June 5, 2007

Head coach Therese Hession and the Buckeyes will open the season at the Mason Rudolph Women's Championship in Nashville, Tenn.
COLUMBUS, Ohio - Therese Hession, Ohio State women's golf coach, announced the team's 2007-08 regular season schedule Tuesday.
The Buckeyes will be playing a national schedule, one that Hession hopes will prepare them for postseason competition. Ohio State will play host to two tournaments during the 2007-08 season, the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge in Palos Verdes, Calif., (Feb. 11-13) and the 28th Lady Buckeye Spring Invitational (April 19-20) on their home Scarlet Course in Columbus.
Ohio State will begin its fall season Sept. 14-16 with the Mason Rudolph Women's Championship in Nashville, Tenn. The Buckeyes last saw competition at the Mason Rudolph Women's Championship in 2002, where they placed tied for third. The squad will next travel to East Lansing, Mich., for the Lady Northern Invitational, Sept. 22-23, a tournament the team has frequently played. The 2007-08 season will mark Ohio States 23rd trip to the Lady Northern, winning the event five times, and placing third in 2006. Wrapping up the fall season the Buckeyes will travel to back to Tennessee for the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship, Oct. 12-14, in Knoxville and to Wilmington, N.C., for the Landfall Tradition Oct. 26-28. Ohio State competed in the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship three of the past four years, winning the event in 2003.
