COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Ohio State men's track and field team put on an impressive all-around performance as the Buckeyes evened the 'The Dual' series with a 110-93 victory over its rival Michigan Saturday at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. The Buckeyes won 11 of the 19 events.

Was anyone else there (basically in this thread that's you buckeyecoach/bk haha)? I thought it was an awesome atmosphere. Perfect weather, great competition/marks, and ultimately a big win...I don't think the coaches could have asked for anything more to kick off the season. I think the momentum will really carry on through the season b/c those guys were jacked up afterwards. Overall, a big success if you ask me.

I wasn't able to attend so unfortunately I can't give an opinion... I do like the idea of an ongoing dual meet between the two rival schools though. It should continue to generate (a little) excitement for the sport... at least in Central Ohio.

I was there the entire time. It was an awesome environment. One of the most exciting meets I have been to (probably becasue it was so short as well). I thought it was really cool that the team sang happy birthday to Coach Gary after their victory lap and before singing Carmen Ohio.

Really eciting to see those kids enjoying themselves. Even some Michigan fans said it was a great event. Heard Gary did a similar thing with the Big 10 Cross Championship meet held at Ohio State!
