I live in Cali, originally from Ohio...and, of course, I love my Bucks, (hate USC)!! This board is so incredibly comprehensive!! I follow very close but don't contribute because I don't feel the need, particularly. Everyone does it for me, eventually. So I just love to check in and catch up, especially as regards to recruiting.
Anyway, my point is, I had met the Boom at his restaurant in Santa Monica before and last night I ran into him again at Best Buy and we had a wonderful conversation about Ohio, Youngstown and Cardinal Mooney and, of course, our beloved Buckeyes. He assures me, he is a BIG Buckeye NUT!!! We talked about Mooney's upcoming game later last night and he knew all the D1 recruits and where they were heading. We talked about John Simon being a potential Buck and he mentioned that he played with Simon's dad and that his dad played at 190! Imagine that.
The reason I am posting particularly, now, is that Boom Boom has not read the wonderful piece, (I cried), written about him on Yahoo Sports. I told him I would help. But, for the record, I was around before computers, hint, and not the most technically savvy, or technically interested, if you catch my drift. In other words, I get out of the internet what I need, that's it. I apologize for my shortcomings, but there you have it.
But I would like for him to read the piece...it is great! I earnestly appeal to all of you buck-genius comrades out there to please help if you will. Help recover the piece, (any means necessary), for him, he is supposed to call me some time next week, (we could send him the link, maybe), and you all could persuade him to join the Planet...AND...maybe influence the Simon family...'wink'.
