Personally, I like Anelka better than Drgoba right now.

Arsenal looks pretty strong thus far, despite the Hull match this week (which I'm watching right now). And Im anxious to get to today's Man City game to see if their investments are paying off...

Are there any Liverpool fans out here? I'd be anxious to get some insight into them...

UEFA matches resume this week...
Man City has made a couple of good signings that can help now and some for the future. Jo isn't ready for the Prem. He plays to passively. Robinho will be fine in a couple of years, once he learns how to play off defenders instead of always running himself into trouble.

Drogba seems to be dogging it again. Just like a couple years back, he is going through the motions and not really getting into the games. Anelka will never get you 20 goals. Drogba could.

As a united fan I follow the other Red team in the Northwest just enough to say this. Liverpool have started well, as usual. An injury here and another there, and this team looks thin. When the rubber meets the road this team will falter through a bad run of form and a backup of fixtures. They still don't have the squad guys necessary to fight on 4 fronts. Come December and January, look for them to drop in the Prem standings and crash out of the FA Cup. It happens every year.

GO CELTIC!!!
You need to wait until United visit Parkhead to get too excited. That was where Celtic won the last meeting. I do hope Celtic can stun Villarreal this week. That would really help United's chances.

Celtic were close to getting a point until the ageless Marcos Senna sent a free kick into the back of the net. Man U absolutely dominated Aalborg and i thought Berbatov had an extraordinary game even if he didn't score either of his 2 goals his touches and passes were all top quality. Arsenal routed FC Porto 4-0 with van Persie and Adebayor bagging a brace each. Other than Real Madrid beating Zenit St. Petersburg, all the other games ended in Draws. Matchday 2 for the other groups will be tommorow.

I'm not a die hard fan, but I do follow EPL and UEFA, and I gotta say, Man U looks absolutely stacked this season. I got to see the second half of this game today, and wow, they play very well together. I was unaware that Man U picked up Berbatov until today, but their strikers are off the charts. I feel they could win UEFACL and EPL again this season.

On another note, I haven't had the chance to catch much EPL or other UEFA match-ups yet this season, so I can't really compare Man U to anyone else, but I'd like to see Arsenal and some other teams before I crown Man U the EPL champs, though from what I saw today they look primed to do it.

I haven't been able to finish watching either the United v Aalborg match or the Zenit v Madrid game. I was happy to see Berbatov break the goose and finally open his United goal scoring account. Though the injuries to Scholes and Rooney did leave a slight bad taste in the mouth.

I will agree that United are stacked and I am thankful they have the 3 hardest games of the year out of the way already, and they are 6 points behind with a match in hand. The match in hand should be an easy victory if there is such a thing. Fulham isn't a team I am usually worried about United beating.

The Scholes injury is huge because they expect him to be out 2 months and Rooney probably won't make the trip to Blackburn this weekend after picking up a slight knock against Aalborg.

The only 2 teams i can see challenging Man U would likely be the obvious 2, Chelsea and Liverpool. Chelsea is stacked but also plagued with injuries early on in the season and Scolari has brought a much more attacking mindset to the Blues. Liverpool is a darkhorse to me because if they can get consistency from Robbie Keane and Ryan Babel they could be very dangerous but they have had a rough stretch of EPL seasons finishing in 3rd and 4th as of late.

Arsene Wenger has claimed this "young gunners" team to be as good as the "unvincibles" although that remains to be seen. They have incredible young talent, but thats exactly what it is, young talent. I expect them to fall apart at the end of the season like last year because the team just doesn't have the year long experience needed to win the EPL.

Scholes isn't so big of a deal if Carrick is back ready to play soon, as Giggs and Anderson will play the same position. The worse part is Haregreaves being sidelined. Park can even have more of a chance with Scholes laid up. United have options, which is more that I can say for Chelsea. If both Drogba and Essien are out for extended periods, with Essien known to be, That could really hurt their chances. Ballack isn't half of what Essien has shown to be. And Anelka and Kalou together don't get you to Drogba's level.

As I have already said, Liverpool will begin to falter about mid year and Arsenal late in the spring for 2 completely different reasons. Liverpool will be concentrating on CL football and loose 2 or 3 games they should have won and that will begin their tailspin. Arsenal on the other hand will falter from being a small squad of unproven talent. All in all, I expect a tight Prem race, no more than 3 points between the top 2 and no more than 7 between the top 3.

Celtic is 0-15 in Champions League away games. Please wait until they play at home to get all excited. The "attacking" options available to Gordon Strachan are well "Offensive". They have 1 senior striker healthy and he isn't all that good. My prediction 4-0 for the home side. Take me Home United!!!
