Yep. South African Trevor Immelman. There's a real story behind this kid. People here are over the moon!

The past two days were a joy to watch. Congrats to Trevor on his win and hopefully many more to come. Wish that Brandt and Steve could have held it together a bit better, because those two guys petty much forced you to pull for them. I, for one, am tired of champions that are stoic to the point of being pompous, and was thrilled to watch two guys that looked like a couple of weekend hackers having a blast on the greatest course in the world, except they weren't "hacking" they were kicking it's ass!
On a day that was miserable, the cream did step up as one would expect. Not sure about the final numbers, but no surprise that Tiger and Phil put up two of the best numbers of the day. But, Trevor was able to hold it together and I think make alot of new fans in the world of golf.

I've only seen one Masters live - the 50th and the last that Jack won.
Anybody else ever bought a pimento sandwich?
No, I make my own pimento sandwiches. No one else's can compare.
That being said, I'm envious as hell that you, and not I, were at the 1986 Masters. To this day, from a historical perspective, it's one of the greatest events in the history of sports. Jack's charge was just sooooo sick, and to see "the normally reserved crowd at Augusta, going wild........." in total Carl Spackler fashion was amazing. To this day, they still use as a promo on CBS that 12 foot putt Jack Was standing over, and about 6 feet into it he starts raising his putter in triumph until.............."it's in the hole, it's in the hole."
Seriously though, those people at Augusta are incredible and classy fans. There is only reason that they would ever "cheer" for the misfortunes of a great prior champion like Seve Ballesteros. Not that they didn't like Seve, but it was all about the "Jack."
