if i was a wings fan id hate the call, if i was a pens fan id love the call. personally i would have called the goal off and no penalty. that being said i know for a fact the discussion has been made to detroit about that. theyve taken run at netmenders all year. danny made the call, im not a fan of ohalloran. maybe its cuz hes a dertoit boy...

Maybe....but what Homer did had nothing to do with the goalie not making the same.
Flowerboy squared to the shooter and closed his eyes and completely missed the puck. Holmstrom was off to the side a bit. I'll see if I can find the picture of it.
And it's not like they've been consistent with the call, as in both the Dallas game AND in the game last night had the Stars/Pens end up having almost the exact same situation in reverse, with absolutely no call made. In fact if you want to talk about "running the goalie" look at what Pittsburgh did to Osgood about 5 minutes after the bull[censored] no-goal/penalty on Holmstrom.
EDIT: Found it on the first try.....Flowerboy came out of the crease, Holmstrom's stick barely and I mean barely touched him, but he wasn't even in front of MAF...
Note the closed eyes. Better yet note the complete lack of any type of physical control on Holmstrom....
EDIT 3: I'm not one of those nuts that think the NHL is out to get the Wings. Don't get me wrong there. but a bad ref is a bad ref and O'Hallaran is a bad ref and has been for a while.
