Too many. Tottenham are a club in crisis. Too many different people trying to run a club. Of course Harry would want Defoe. He did buy him for Portsmouth. Robbie Keane is coming back for less than he left for. Liverpool was a bad decision on his part.

Chelsea need a real winger. Joe Cole is out and Malouda has been lackluster. The sticking point between Arshavin isn't Zenit anymore, the agreed a fee, now it is his wage demands. Wenger won't pay him what he wants.

He's already had a physical and agreed personal terms. Zenit want half of his signing bonus for allowing him to break his contract.

The BBC has confirmed Chelsea have signed Ricardo Quaresma on a loan deal I believe untill the end of the season. Loads of rumors out there in regards to Arshavin but apparently the word from Moscow is that the teams have concluded a 4 year deal but that is not confirmed at this point.

How much did Liverpool pay for Keane ? wasn't it around 20 million pounds ? I do not think Liverpool has what it takes to win the league this year, I just can't see them catching Man U.

Liverpool paid 20.3 million pounds and sold him back for 15, so in 6 months Liverpool have decreased his value by $10 million. That is unreal.

It was understood that Arsenal had agreed a fee with Zenit, during which time Arshavin, one of the stars of Euro 2008, accepted personal terms and passed a medical.

The Associated Press and Reuters then claimed the deal collapsed when the clubs could not reach agreement.

Reports said the move broke down over the size of the fee and compensation Zenit would be paid for allowing Arshavin to break his contract.

Doesn't really matter. I just hope it's done.

He was one guy that I said he will be great in the Prem. He has been average at best. He reminds me of Alexander Hleb from Arsenal. Good in other leagues but doesn't have the physical presence to make it in the Prem.

Most of the reports are saying that the FA will allow the transfer to go through. We will see.

Looks like the Arshavin deal has been confirmed by the premier league and after all this talk he finally ends up signing for Arsenal. Either way though Arsenal are out of the race for the title and are currently 5 pts back of Aston Villa for 4th and the final Champions League spot.

Aston Villa advance in the FA Cup after beating Doncaster 3-1. Derby and Blackburn also advanced beating Nottingham Forest and Sunderland respetively. Everton defeated Liverpool 1-0 with Dan Gosling putting one in the back of the net off the post in the 118th minute to eliminate the Reds. To add insult to injury Steven Gerrard was subbed off after only 15 minutes with an apparent injury.

Stevie G will be out 3 weeks and maybe up to 5 weeks. He has a torn hamstring. Next up for Derby, another visit from the Red Devils. Can't have a repeat of the last time we showed up at Pride Park.
