11/14 in Uruguay...11/21 at Broward County Regional Park in Florida. Eagles are currently ranked 18th...Uruguay sits at 21.

Yes...if they win both games they are in or if they split but win the point differential they are in. The loser still has another chance:

Canade has already booked their ticket...the US beat them 12-6 at home but lost 41-18 in Edmonton so Canada earned the Americas #1 bid. The US is 9-1 against Uruguay the last 20 years and had to challenge Uruguay for the last qualifying spot in the 2007 RWC.

Just watched highlights of the Currie Cup final (got sidetracked by family Halloween obligations last night). Looked like a great match with the Cheetahs coming back and making the BBs work for it. Habana's second try was a brilliant combination of talent and effort. Nice to see that he still has it even though the Boks don't seem to think they need him offensively.

The book, by John Carlin, is excellent and well worth a read. I hope Hollywood hasn't sentimentalised the film version too much, although having seen that trailer I'm not too optimistic about that. I'll still go and see it though.

Forgot to say in my first post that the book's title is "Playing the Enemy", rather than Invictus. That should make it a bit easier to find.

I read it last year and agree that it was exceptionally well written. Great, great profile of Mandela that goes into details that most Americans (including yours truly) don't know.

Also, I had a bad dream last night that the Boks lost to an English club team. Only problem is that I can't wake up from it.

No, the Boks are resting a number of players right now for at least six weeks. Too much rugby and they are past exhausted. Habana is one of the players who SARFU want rested now. Prof Tim Noakes spoke out publicly to get these guys rested. I actually think our second string can handle the English.
