| Political Conversation and Debate This forum is not a temporary one. It will exist up to, and after the presidential elections. Some people want to talk or even argue politics, other's don't. Let's see if we can apply some reason and understanding to the debate. |

What are your thoughts on weed?

I do not know how anyone could put an object lit by fire on the end of their lips. All of that being said, I am not sure its just ignorant and uninformed people, but people who are looking for a way to mitigate reality. Sometimes reality sucks, but for me, is just a time to get away at the gym or jog or something like that. I think that Cheech and Chong more or less sum it up. They were funny in a way, but as they said, they were total wastes. I don't care for the whole idea. But each to their own. I do not believe in legalization.

Go ahead and use it, I don't care.
Just don't be shocked when the world treats you like a loser if you do more than experiment with it.

Interestingly enough, a fellow I knew in college was high every single minute I was ever with him. Smoked probably 20 joints a day.
He graduated with a perfect 4-point and is now principal-in-charge of a major brokerage in Chicago. Probably hauls down 7 figures.
Not that I condone or recommend similar behavior. But occasionally you find a stoner who is not a loser.

True you do, but my guess is that he doesn't act like the proto-typical stoner either at this point....maybe he does, but he is obviously the minority I think...

He never acted like the prototypical stoner. I was always astounded that he could perform scholastically at all, never mind with the THC blood concentrations that he must have had. But you would never think, upon casually meeting him, that he was high. Agreed, a very small minority.
