Well, whatever sells in Kentucky. God forbid she actually engages them on her (non)issue issues. Perhaps a straw poll indicated to her people that any subject more complex than, well, straw, would prove confusing to them. The curious thing is...how did that that straw poll, if indeed it took place, distinguish KY Crats from all other Crats?

Ok...forum decorum and all that. So in fairness let's by all means allow her supporters here to tell us exactly what this woman stands for, and why she doesn't consider the good people of Kentucky worthy of substantive discussion of the issues of the day.
Not a Hillary supporter, but do you really believe she only spoke for 27 seconds (with a splice in the middle)?

I don't think she was being condecending. I do think her attempt at a southern accent was awful and just made her look like a fool, IMO. No flaming intended. I would say the same thing if Romney/McCain/Rudi did something like that.

Of course not. And if there was something to remediate her comments, such as a preface that made clear her intent or anything else in her defense, then certainly her supporters can blow this thread clear out of the water with it. If you want to question whether she address substantive issues, why don't you post a link that contains the entire transcript of her speech? Then we could look at what she said and have a discussion regarding the topics she did or did not address.

If you want to mock her for using a ridiculous southern accent, the previous link is more than enough, but try to stick to discssion relevant to the link.

Tell ya what. I am going to try and chill out. I don't offer this as an excuse, but I also come to this board from a highly politicized board where contributors were known by...well...let's just say it was a no-holds-barred environment.

I will also place on ignore those contributors that seem to put me on edge. Perhaps that way I can better stay on point.

You are not the first to have that transitional experience/difficulty. I think taking a short break and reading the new posts will likely do you some good.

Another thing that you might want to note, is the way that thread hijacks are employed in this forum and even the OD.
