I don't know about that....I do know that Limbaugh made most of his money while the GOP wasn't in power either in Congress or the Presidency, he MIGHT be doing something in that kind of direction too....being a greedy capitalist and all

He wrote, I think, 2 books (I think he had a TV show) and the popularity of his radio show exploded in that time frame.

Everything he's made since is as a result of that time frame.

And no I don't listen to him at all.

So yes, to answer your question, he wasn't exactly the known quantity before the 1992 election that he became AFTER it......

I'd say he probably is making more now, he just doesn't have as much on hand, having to spend the majority of his income on Oxy Contin, viagra, plane tickets and "dates". (allegedly)

ARod made his huge contract by his big years in Seattle.

Limbaugh made what he's making today by what he did in the 1992 to 1994 time frame when he became the national voice or whatever you wish to call him.

Personally if I've listened to more than about 10 minutes of his show I don't honestly know why...

Yesterday there was speculation that HRC's had become further indebted to the candidate - possibly to the tune of $10 Million.

Turns out that was both true and untrue.

True - she did lend the campaign more millions of dollars.

Untrue - the total she lent was $6.4 Million, not $10 Million.

Untrue part 2 - the total indebtedness by HRC for President to HRC now runs at $11.4 Million.

That's a lot of pant suits.

With debts at start of month exceeding cash on hand it seems likely that her purse will have to open again - or she can depend on the kindness of strangers, after all - tomorrow is now just another day.
