The classic fascist playbook had lots of pro-ecology/tree hugging, gay rights supporting, diversity encouraging, anti-war, free speech championing pages
- they just got misplaced.

I know other Americans that feel this way. Basically, they feel Americans will become "serfs" to Obama because he is so popular that is it is obvious his supporters are brain-washed. DaytonBuck feels the charismatic Obama (Democratic Party) in the United States is similar to how it was with charismatic Benito Mussolini (National Fascist Party) in Italy and Adolf Hitler (National Socialist German Workers Party) in Germany.

So that is your point? Well, speech codes at universities are somewhat ubiquitous, so I don't know if you can label all of them as "leftist liberalism."
The bigger point is that your broad brush allegation of liberal leftists being nascent fascists is about as fair as saying that all conservatives are fascists because most favor a ban on the heretofore Constitutionally protected free speech right of flag burning.
Put another way, you really need to do much better at providing a factual nexus than that given when you make such a comment. Now, some hack like Coulter can say that all liberals are traitors, blah blah blah, but she is not viewed by anyone as a serious thinker - brilliant marketer perhaps....
As to speech codes generally, I am a big free speech guy, so I think that you have a right to say what you want within the constraints of the work or school environment. You can call people n****** on your soapbox in the park if you so choose, but that does not mean that if you direct that same comment at a person they can't sue you for defamation. And, you can't say what you can say on your public soapbox at your private work and expect to remain employed. So there are legitimate exercises of free speech limitation in the confines of work or school. Generally, it is better not to have skin heads and Nation of Islam wacks inciting riots at school, so there are some regulations that accompany the privilege - not the right - to attend any specific educational facility. To the extent people go to extremes ( see the "water buffalo" case a while back at some eastern school), it will work itself out.
So please provide the board with more facts with greater particularity before you make the broad brush fascist analogy....or not. I mean, it is your right not to do so, but it is also people's right not to take your pronouncement seriously if you don't do a better job articulating why such an inflammatory statement is valid.

People like Daytonbuck are more obsessed about their own fanatic right-wing ideologies than reality.
I mean he's comparing Obama to a Fascist, the idea of a welfare state to Fascism, and implying the American left is anti-free speech. I've come across other Americans that share his philosophy -- that Democrats are socialists, that the welfare state is really socialism, that the Democrats are anti-free speech. These same people even freak on the centrist side of the Republican party, slamming Bush for supporting his version of "socialism", slamming McCain for being anti-free speech when he tried to pass a bill setting limits on negative smear ads on TV that were not endorsed by any of the candidates, stuff like that.
To me, it's these right-wing nuts that come across as "Fascist" -- by the way they focus on throwing around accusations of Democrats being un-patriotic, un-nationalistic, un-American -- accusing them of being socialists, anti-capitalist, anti-free speech, anti-Constitution, etc.
I mean check out this highly inflammatory smear ad someone made to low-blow Obama:
Eyeblast.tv
The producers of that ad are the ones that come across as fascist to me.
