| Political Conversation and Debate This forum is not a temporary one. It will exist up to, and after the presidential elections. Some people want to talk or even argue politics, other's don't. Let's see if we can apply some reason and understanding to the debate. |

If the Republican Party were legitimately concerned about the Obama/Ayers/Rezko/Wright/Socialist angles, they would have made a bigger issue out of it months ago. Now, behind in the polls, it really does reak of desperation. And its not working. |

Just like Roosevelt, he'll be another "evil socialist" who comes in and saves capitalism...even if he has to drag the capitalists kicking and screaming to their own redemption.

When have socialists ever saved capitalism?

My point exactly! Obama is no more--incendiary rhetoric aside--a socialist than was Roosevelt. What he is is, like Roosevelt, a common sense reformer who will reign in some of the most short-sighted and self-destructive aspects of American capitalism and hopefully save it from its baser instincts.

I guess the anchor asked to many tough questions.......
She didn't ask any softball questions so I wonder if the anchor has an agenda..... Obama campaign cuts off WFTV after interview with Joe Biden Orlando Sentinel - Obama campaign cuts off WFTV after interview with Joe Biden by Hal Boedeker WFTV-Channel 9's Barbara West conducted a satellite interview with Sen. Joe Biden on Thursday. A friend says it's some of the best entertainment he's seen recently. What do you think? West wondered about Sen. Barack Obama's comment, to Joe the Plumber, about spreading the wealth. She quoted Karl Marx and asked how Obama isn't being a Marxist with the "spreading the wealth" comment. "Are you joking?" said Biden, who is Obama's running mate. "No," West said. West later asked Biden about his comments that Obama could be tested early on as president. She wondered if the Delaware senator was saying America's days as the world's leading power were over. "I don't know who's writing your questions," Biden shot back. Biden so disliked West's line of questioning that the Obama campaign canceled a WFTV interview with Jill Biden, the candidate's wife. |

The less that Biden opens his mouth the better for the Obama campaign.
Meanwhile the world waits on tenterhooks for the Ice Queen Witch Huntress (aka Palin) to conduct her first press conference. |
