Will Hillary drop out of the nomination race?
There was an interesting little discussion last week about when people think HRC might drop out (if ever) of the race for the Democratic presidential nomination.
With the PA primary only slightly more than a week away, and IN and NC not far behind, here's a thread and poll to discuss HRC's options a bit more...

I'm going with after NC, but that's more of a hope than a bet.

I can't decide between that and "Snipers be damned!"
One part of me says she's not going to give up no matter what.
The other part of me says she's not going to give up until/unless Obama and/or the party give her some sort of concession: a veep nomination or a promise of a high-profile cabinet post if Obama wins.
If I were to express my hopes, I would rather not have had her enter the race at all because it seemed like a forgone conclusion (to me) that if someone challenged her, the fight would become unbelievably dirty, the level of debate would sink into gutter, and things would get unncessarily convoluted.

Hillary will have to be dragged kicking and screaming from the race - she won't drop out.
The only possible exceptions:
- Obama selects her as his running mate.
- Obama promises Hillary a SCOTUS appointment IF he's elected president.
The only way Hillary takes either of those deals is at the convention, if/when it becomes apparent there is no way she's getting the bid.

A couple months ago, when the campaign was still chugging along the high road, I could see her getting the Veep if Obama won... these days, not so much. There are too many deranged sound bites for the two of them to run together.

There's absolutely NO WAY that HRC even gets consideration for an SC nomination, much less a confirmation or appointment.
