| Political Conversation and Debate This forum is not a temporary one. It will exist up to, and after the presidential elections. Some people want to talk or even argue politics, other's don't. Let's see if we can apply some reason and understanding to the debate. |

Nice to see there is at least one other person here who isn't hypnotized by Barack.

Not a chance in hell, but I was fed up with McCain years ago so I'm feeling screwed either way.

Agreed, but it is pretty funny to watch all the people who bitched and moaned and made [censored]ty attempts at humor for the past 8 years pull out all the stops to defend anything and everything Obama. His thread is basically a shrine to him.

![]() There are more than enough Obama haters that have chimed in to his thread - its just that me & MuckFich have out posted them ![]() That being said, I can empathize with the sentiment of this thread - I felt equally hopeless in 2004... |

Your vote is obviously all yours, but I would say that there are clear policy choices in this election about some very, very key issues. If nothing else, your candidate choice (or lack of choice) has a material issue impact in this election and there are two starkly (increasingly, in terms of McCain) different options. |

Unfortunately, on most issues, one guy has a really stupid idea and the other guy's is even worse. Topics like energy, climate change, immigration, entitlement programs, and the economy come to mind. ![]() |

To me, this issue is more important than any other, and carries with it far more "change" effects than any other issue that they may disagree on. Which is why I am a yella dog this time. Course, if the dems were sure to win a bunch of seats in the Senate and the House so that they can overturn a Presidential veto, then it might be good to have an elephant in the WH for balance... I wish I knew in advance how that was going to shake out. With enough dems in congress, I'd vote McCain. |
