Nor should you... you should have seen Jwins note that moderation is a private matter not known to users not involved unless they make it public, as you did, for example

which it seems has been productive, ie this thread. thank you, it is a very good idea and i appreciate it. however different from my approach it has merit. thank you mods.

so as long as its a "joke" its cool? youre the trier of fact? personally i dont find such "jokes" as humorous rather its nothing short of a slur, something that would get many of us fired or forced resignation. some of us view this place from work and derogatory slurs are not appropriate in public discourse and do not foster discussion. sure its one thing to make a joke, its a completely different level to use such language. rather its nothing sort of disgusting.... its been essentially a crackdown issue on any other part of this board.

And no, this thread is not an excuse for dung whining, which has been well established as more than just complaining about rep. We don't even allow mockery of stupid reps on this website.


That yellow color means it is a warning, as did the title of the warning left. Infractions are red, and carry points and consequences with them. Warnings are nothing more than what that word implies.

I believe the "whining" aspect of it had more to do with the "he/she got away with it and didn't receive a warning like me" that occurred a little earlier in the thread.

Going forward, just understand that you need to provide some relevant commentary whenever you post an article.

Collectively, you could consider them all as warnings, formal or otherwise. Not infractions though.

my apology on the terminology. its a new thing to me.

then again assuming i checked my rep every 10 minutes i would not have been "aware" of such a situation, but you did send me a pm i think once upon a time, (i just went through the pms that havent been system deleted and it was prior to 9-22-08). then again i violated it, i deserved it...

As it happens, yes... I am indeed trier of fact. It comes with the job of being a mod/admin on this board. Take it up with Clarity if you think I'm not worthy of it.
