Big surprise here. I thought you were rooting for the Yankees.

BuckeyeNation27: "well then why ask the question"
I only asked why you were abandoning your 'favorite' team. Especially since its the first time they have a legit shot in 86 years.
I mean, lets look at facts. The Pale Hoes: been around since 1901, only have seven playoff appearences in all those years (w/ 2 Championships 1906 & 1917). The last one managed by a guy named "Pants" Rowland (also the last time they won 100 games). Their last four Playoff appearences came in '00, '93, '83, & '59.
These years don't come around too often for the South Siders. I'd savor the moment.
Heck, you probably have the best shot to knock off the Empire.

No its not. You're the bandwagon fan who's been chirping all winter about, "I don't have a team anymore!"
And hell, who knows what you root for: 99% of your baseball replies are about the Yankees. You're more on our jock than any 'favorite team' you may or may not have ..

It's hard to argue against A-Rod for being Mr. May this year, but Bobby Abreu is also putting together a nice resume.

Abreu has definitely been impressive. Brian Roberts and Derek Lee have slowed down a little, so I'd have to say ARod is the front-runner for "Mr. May" at this point.
