Bud says it has to be open.

I hope they keep it closed. And give Selig a big F-U.
I really dont get this at all. Houston is in charge of it all year, except during the playoffs. HOW LAME IS THAT????

I have never seen such a big deal made out of absolutely NOTHING!!
Who gives a [censored].
Maybe Houston should worry about their ace closer not losing games instead of a freaking roof.
Or maybe that stupid mountain they have in centerfield that will in time cause one of their players to roll their ankles or knees?

Crock-O-Crap. Selig says it isn't 'fair'. How come it was OK to be 'unfair' the past four months? Teams water diamonds and rake foul lines. Either set a standard rule for baseball that guides when retractable roofs can be open or let the home team make the call.

The funny thing is the MLB has been pushing BIG for cities to build the retractables, yet then in the playoffs, its out of their hands. I completely agree though....this is very stupid.

I thought it was Houstons decision in the LCS, but the WS is up to
'Hair Bud'.
Actually, it is a big deal to the Astros: it's much louder with the roof closed. At this point I'm sure they'll take any advantage they can get.

Maybe it's just me but crowd noise has little or no affect on a baseball game.
