Ummm...that's a picture of him in the yankee's road jersey...so how do you know if he looks good with the pinstripes on, since the road jersey's are just grey?

Exactly. This big panic about acquiring a CF revolves around DEFENSE, or the lack thereof. So, the plan is to give a 3 year deal to an Offensive CF who aint that good in the field and can't throw. Makes perfect sense to me.
Not to mention the fact that he's going to demand booku bucks, will be 37 at the end of the deal, and probably will have to be moved out of CF before the end of the contract.
And will lose all of his marketability when he has to shave & trim the ol' locks.

Whoops.
Anyway, as much as I hate to see the Yankees get better (well, on O)... I do love a good Red Sox Nation meltdown more than enough to offset it...
I'm sure teh ghost of Wade Boggs is smiling somewhere...
Oh, he's not dead?
I thought the fried chicken got him... oh well.

Re: "Moving from Fenway Park to Yankee Stadium will mean a change of style and scenery for the long-haired, bearded Damon -- a fan favorite in Boston for his scrappy play and scruffy look. But New York owner George Steinbrenner bans beards and long hair."
It will be even more interesting to see how he'll look after a trip to the barber shop.
