Sloop said that this was a joke. Apparently like his Eddie Murray thing, the joke wasn't obvious to some of us.

Your guess is as good as mine. But he's clearly stated his position of 'no' for DM in the HOF.

Tibbs: "are you such a whimp that you go crying for mods when you can't defend yourself?"
Actually, I am so pained by Tibor's constant ribbing that I must call for his permanent banishment and the reinstatement of Guy Incognito. I'm permanently crying on the inside from this ..

You're right, I totally apologize for this whole thread as it was my fault.

Sorry I couldn't tell how that post was any different from any others you had posted here.
Again, my apologies for being so STUPID!

Belle's bad karma rings clear in Fame vote
Wednesday, January 25, 2006
From wire reports
It's been a couple of weeks since baseball's Hall of Fame announced the selection of Bruce Sutter.
But while you might think that Boston Globe columnist Bob Ryan would be focused on another disappointing result for Red Sox outfielder Jim Rice, it was an old Indian that commanded his attention.
Albert Belle didn't make it? That was no surprise to Ryan.
"Belle never did anything to me personally," Ryan wrote. "But I can tell you that in my 38 years [in Boston], I have never observed a more negative aura cast on a locker room or clubhouse than the one created by Belle when he played for the Indians from 1991 [his first full year] through 1996. That should have been a happy workspace. The Indians were very good and their manager, Mike Hargrove, was a 100 percent people person. But the room was always tense because no one knew when Belle might erupt.
"But until crunch time came, no one knew just how much the Belle persona would outweigh the Belle numerical resume [for the Hall of Fame]. Now we know. The answer is, just about completely."
