according to NY Daily News Torre is out and Pinella is in as NYY manager. Since it was Torre's fault that no one could get a clutch hit this makes perfect sense.  |

Well that would make perfect sense...I mean it's not like Torre was busy winning the World Series with less "star power" while Pinella was setting Peyton Manning-like records for regular season wins and post season chokes in Seattle or anything
The bottom line is Torre couldn't stop the injuries, and he couldn't stop the has-beens from getting huge contracts, and he couldn't stop A-Rod from being the most overrated player in the history of sports. Sounds like all his fault alright

bingo. I thought A-Rod would be the fall guy here (I still think that was his last game as a Yankee). Torre is getting a raw deal. |

A-Rod is widely considered ("rated") as an amazingly talented player who does not come through in the clutch. In what way is he overrated? |
