Not really team related, but I just found out my girlfriend got us season ticket flex packs for our anniversary!

Krivsky just locked Arroyo up for a 2 year extension for a pretty damn good deal money wise!!
That means we have Harang and Arroyo under control through 2011, if Homer pans out thats a decent 1-2-3 in the forseeable future.

Harang's was the longest contract that any Reds pitcher has signed since Mario Soto. They signed these guys at Jeff Suppan/Ted Lilly type money. I'd much rather have this pair than Suppan and Lilly. If Bailey lives up to the hype, all the Reds really need is a closer. Hardly anybody has a stellar 4th or 5th starter. I saw that the Reds are checking out Dustin Hermanson. He could be a solution in the bull pen if his back is healthy.
