Would you rather....
If you had the choice between Barry Bonds breaking the HR record or your team winning the World Series, which one would you choose?

Its obviously a little cut and dry but if your options were:

Team wins World Series and Bonds breaks HR record

or

Team does not win World Series and Bonds doesn't break HR record

Obviously there are million variations to the second option (team makes playoffs but doesn't win WS, team makes first round of playoffs, team doesn't make playoffs, etc...) but I was just wondering what you would rather see more.

Some of you undoubtedly will not care if Bonds breaks the record or not but I for one would rather seem him fail over any other possible outcome from this season.

Agree 100%. I'm a red legs fan too but Bonds can't play forever and eventually will quit. The reds can win it next year or the year after that. Screw Bonds!!!

Yeah I think we need a few more pitchers before the reds win a world series....maybe thats why it was easier to ask this question. Still, even if we were the favorite I still think I would rather see Bonds fail.
