This is the 2nd time this year that The Captain left a game due to injury. If the Tribe had more players like him, then maybe a number like 1948 wouldn't be coming up so much.

Uh, I watch every game: this is the first time he left a game after being hit (the other time he left a game was after diving in the stands against the Red Sox on July 1st). He got hit in the wrist badly against Victor Zambrano and the D-Rays earlier in the season but STAYED IN THE GAME.

Other than that, he's played just about every Inning, and hasn't missed anything due to injury. Did you really want to discuss facts, or just post more drivel?

a.) I didn't jump to his defense, I merely corrected a poster who was talking out of his ass and making statements that weren't true.

And,
b.) Well, usually Jealous Yankee-haters in Ohio are Indians fans, but you could be a Jealous Yankee hater who cheers for another team. My bad.

I don't think as many fans are jealous of the Yankees but hate them because of the unfair advatage they get. I mean imagine if it was the other way around and the Yankees had a budget and the Tribe could sign anyone they wanted. Oh well, when the Indians win a World Series it will make it that much sweeter.
