i think their argument has more to do with the fact that MLB was the one selling the shirt vs. some guy on the side of the street.
i however think its pretty funny, though i hate the yanks, they own the sox right now.

I'm a Red Sox fan, and even I think this is horse [censored]. I've seen so many Yankee-hater shirts here in Boston, the worst of which are:
"Jeter Sucks A Rod" and (gay pride rainbow triangle in front, with picture of Jeter and A-Rod's smiling faces in the middle) "Yankee Pride." It should go both ways, although these shirts that I saw in Boston were not MLB-sanctioned shirts.

Looks like Boston is losing the psychological war already, if it wasn't lost before it started. They've got Schilling, and a whole bunch of guys who can't beat the Yankees when it counts. We'll see.

I think Schilling will be fine. For the most part he got the job done against the Evil Empire back in the 2001 Series:

That was my point: they've got Schilling and a bunch of guys who have never been able to beat the Yankees when it counts. Schilling could win 2 games, and they still might be in trouble.

It's because it is licensed by Major League Baseball guys!!! Major League Baseball doesn't license any of those "Yankees suck" or "[censored] the Yankees" shirts. There are pleanty of better more offensive shirts you can get that go against the Sox or the Yankees, and they are cheeper too since they are not MLB licensed. Last time I checked the NCAA didn't liecnese my "[censored] Michigan" T-shirt. I think MLB is the one to blame...it was stupid of them to come out with a T-shirt directly putting down a team like that. It's not like Yankees fans are deprived of anti-Sox T-shirts.
