Well we had a chance to gain even more today, but the Cards put together 3 runs in the 9th against Kerry Wood to win the game...So I guess we will have to gain a game on the Cubs tonight with a win against the Nats...

Fogg with a solid 4 innings so far...His only run given up was a bloop run scoring single from the pitcher with 2 outs...
Need the offense to get it going...

Fogg with 6 strong innings of 1 run baseball...
Listening to Kent Mercker in the box for the game...He made a comment about the team just needing to play together...I think that is right...We talk about dumping all these guys, dumping Baker, etc...Maybe we should give it a little time to try and work itself out...They seem to be playing better as the season goes on...
Now I think that we should get rid of Griff and try and get something for him while we can, but I would still be for resigning Dunn if we could, if not we need to try and get something for him...And maybe Arroyo...Other than that I keep things intact unless there is just an offer for Phillips, Harang, etc. that is too good to pass up...
He said that Votto and Bruce are still feeling their way...We have had injuries and lots of call ups this season...Now we are solid and playing well...Lets hope that it continues...

Agree on all points. I think listening to Merck puts some good perspective on it and he sounds totally sincere with his comments. I know he's not going to bad mouth the organization in the public, but you can tell by a guys tone when he's being truthful or not and Merck sounds pretty honest tonight.
Great comeback game for Fogg tonight!
Great catch by Bruce to keep Fogg in the game as well.

Now we just need Coco to close it out for us...
