Dunn while not slow(think Casey) is below average when it comes to speed on the base paths, however more crippling than his lack of speed is his base running ability. His instincts stink and he doesnt know situations well.

Well let me say there is a reason Dusty Baker was available.....

You re-sign Dunn no matter what position he is playing at. I remember either last year or 2 yrs ago Dunn was tried at 1B in Spring Training and it didnt work out well. Contrary to popular belief, first base is not an easy position to play. While it might not seem like it, Dunn is a better LF than 1B(and we all know how horrible he is in LF).

Dunn is destined to be the DH for either the New York Yankees or the Anaheim Angels within 2 years. Until something drastic happens or Baker really falls in love with him, Dunn is as good as gone IMO.

I just want to say this. I want to say it gently but I want to say it firmly: There is a tendency for the world to say to America, "the big problems of the world are yours, you go and sort them out," and then to worry when America wants to sort them out.

As much as I hate to say it, he's a better fit in the AL as a DH... Sucks....

Wayne Krivsky's comment to The Cincinnati Enquirer that "It's tough to rely on young guys who have never been in the big leagues from the get-go" seems to indicate that the Reds general manager is still looking for a starting pitcher to add to the rotation now that talks for Baltimore's Erik Bedard apparently have fallen through.
Whether this means that the Reds might try to swing a deal with Cleveland for Cliff Lee or go after one of the remaining veterans on the free-agent market -- Bartolo Colon, Josh Fogg, Livan Hernandez, Jon Lieber, Brett Tomko, etc. -- is anyone's guess at this point. It probably depends on the cost.

In a review of a Bronson Arroyo concert at Bostonist.com, we discover that the Cincinnati Reds starting pitcher is apparently longing for a return to the Boston Red Sox.
With former Red Sox general manager Theo Epstein watching the concert from the wings, Arroyo changed the lyrics of a cover of Augustana's 2007 summer ballad Boston, and, according to the Web site, made a plea for his old job in Boston:
"I think I need to get back to Boston," Arroyo sang. The reviewer wrote, "We couldn't hear the next couple of lines because some of the women of the crowd were freaking out," but picked up the rest of the verse. "I need to get out of Cincinnati. I think I need the Olde Towne to fill my heart again."
The reviewer wrote that "there was a big 'awwwwwww' from many folks in the crowd ? "
The reaction in Cincinnati probably isn't quite so kind.
