I want a different kind of asterik for some of these guys. The one needed for Bonds/Sosa/McGwire and Clemens is too easy.
This would be for the other guys on that list, like the 11 former Reds named.I want it in their official MLBPA bio(because they sure as hell won't be in the record books) next to their stats.
It should read:
Nook Logan*This dumb son of a bitch took steroids to stand 6-3, weigh in at only 180 and hit 2 [censored]ing career HR's.
...or something to that effect based on that particular players individual level of suck. I then want the slappy emoticon to end it.

It's probably the same way in St. Louis and maybe even Detroit.
I think fantasy football has brough a lot more casual fans to football than baseball could ever have because of the watchability of the sport to the casual observer. Outside of that, I think you have to go city by city to determine what is king. Los Angelans will tell you basketball is king as I'm guessing people from Miami will too.

I understand your point, especially living in the Northeast myself (RI), but on a national level football is easily king and it isn't even close right now.
College football and NFL football have the country by the balls.

Mitchell: Findings are solid
Saturday, December 15, 2007 3:06 AM
By Ronald Blum
ASSOCIATED PRESS
NEW YORK -- George Mitchell said naming names was the right decision and said he was prepared for Roger Clemens and others to deny they used performance-enhancing drugs.
"We made every effort to establish the truthfulness of the information that we received," baseball's steroids investigator said yesterday. "Several of the witnesses were interviewed in the presence of federal law enforcement agents who informed the witnesses that if they made false statements they would subject themselves to possible criminal jeopardy. So there were very strong incentives to tell the truth."
