Mitchell Report Fantasy Draft
Me and a couple friends are having a little fun with the Mitchell Report being released on Thursday. We devised a scoring system to hold a fantasy draft. Feel free to play along.
1 pt for every season over 30 homeruns, 2 for every season over 45 homeruns
1 pt for every season over 100 rbis, 2 for every season over 130 rbis
1 pt for every season over .300 BA, 2 for every season over .325 BA
1 pt for every season with an ERA below 3.25, 2 for every season with an ERA below 2.75
1 pt for every season with over 150 ks, 2 for every season over 200 ks
1 pt for every season with over 13 wins, 2 for every season over 18 wins
1 pt for every season with over 30 saves, 2 for every season over 45 saves
3 pts for every all-star appearance
5 pts for every MVP or Cy Young Award
5 pts for every World Series Ring
2 pts for every Silver Slugger Award
2 pts for every Gold Glove
Barry Bonds, Sammy Sosa, Mark Mcguire, Rafael Palmiero, Jason Giambi, and anyone else already admitting steroid use are off-limits
You only get points for people who are in the 60-80 names on the list
We were thinking somewhere around 5 people and 10-20 rounds, being that a lot of people will not be on the list
Draft would go pretty much as a normal fantasy draft would 1,2,3,4,5 in the first round then 5,4,3,2,1 in the second round
