Interesting trade. I like it, but the Sox now have absolutely no prospects. Hopefully Floyd, Danks and Broadway pan out. Also you think they will put Swisher in the 2 hole?

Sweeney was already done for as a White Sox... he spoke out against Ozzie and Kenny in regards to PT... that's the easiest way to get outta town quick.

Giving up Gio Gonzalez is rough, but this allows us to put Ramirez at 2b more permanently and shores up the OF... from left to right Owens, Swisher, Dye.

Good to have a former Buckeye to root for on the southside though, very exciting!

Oh.. as for Swisher in the 2 hole? HELL no. Cabrera in the 2 hole. Swisher maybe 6... Still think the lineup is cluttered full of the same barrel chested base cloggers though. AJ, Konerko, Thome, Crede, and to a lesser extent Dye and Swisher. I'm not sure if our new 2b has wheels or not... but the only people on the team with starting spots who can really still move are Owens, Cabrera, and Fields when he's playing.

Speaking of him, now I DEFINITELY think Joe Crede gets moved. They took their lumps last year with Fields and I think they're ready to try to win even with his defensive foibles. He could probably pretty easily fetch a 4th starter to slide in front of Danks as he takes more time to mature and learn to eat more innings.
