I'm pretty sure that the Indians and Clippers coming together was the last straw for me to make a wholesale switch in my Ohio Major League allegiance. I have always been a Reds fan, but I think that a lot of that was because we didn't get anything else to watch in Lima. I've always kind of been a well wisher for the Indians and a fan of the Reds. Being able to follow AAA minor leaguers for a team that at least has some clue of how to win, and the fact that the Indians are on in Columbus just as much as the Reds, has convinced me that it's time to make the switch.

Go Clippers. Go Indians. Cinncinnati. You are dead to me.

Dragons games weren't much better when I lived in Dayton. Do you think they'll stop dime a dog, since they don't have to lure people to Cooper Stadium? I may have to rethink this decision.

Just so you guys know its not just me, I was looking at the MLB futures at a couple of sportsbooks online and they don't even bother to list odds for the Reds and 4 other NL teams to win the NL.

when Vegas won't even bother listing odds for you to win the NL you know you have achieved an astounding level of suck. Or vegas is just a complete bunch of dumbasses who don't realize we have Tavares now and that we're going to straight up murder people with our speed. One of the two.

That usually means the odds were long enough that any money bet on them would be an enormous loss for the Casino if something weird happened.

I heard someone on the radio the other day say they were recently in Vegas and dropped $10 on the Reds to win the series and would win $900 if they did. I guess that would be 90-1? Sounds a little kind to me.

Of course, I remember standing in a sports book in Vegas in the summer of 2002 and thinking about dropping the same $10 on the Buckeyes. They were at least 40-1 (probably more), I can't remember. Wish I'd have done that instead of cramming that $10 in some stripper's panties. Oh well, the strippers were fun.

One of my friends actually has a 'golden ticket' sitting on his dresser, he just texted me back that it says 40/1 on it, for the Reds to win the WS. He also paid $10, this was bought by his boss who was in LV less than 2 weeks ago.

Maybe the online guys just had some teams taken down when I was looking, who knows. They may be so befudled by our offseason moves they are afraid the Reds FO is up to something.

I know I'd go the route of stuffing the $10 down some strippers panties rather than hand it over to a casino by betting on the Reds. You'd be better off buying 10 lottery tickets.

I reminded my friend of the dude who made the news for having a Rays lottery ticket, after advancing to face Philly, only to come up short... not even a strip dance for that lost cash. Damn shame.
