i only get one game a week here on WGN and they are usually on the weekend so i don't get to watch them very often. tonight i'm watching the game vs the pirates and i was a bit shocked to see podsednik come up to bat. i did a little digging and saw that he was released during spring training, picked up by the sox on a minor league contract, and then called up at the end of April. i hope it works out for him.

it has just been announced that tomorrow will be a national holiday as mark buehrle and dewayne wise will be flown to washington to receive the highest pedestrian honor, given by barack in his white sox windbreaker.

The best laugh of the day however was delivered by Brian Anderson whining to the media to be traded if he cant start and the team essentially saying we tried, no one wants you.
