BTW billmac, I think you're good with Rodney as a closer. Hysterical that I dropped Lyon last week and grabbed Lohse from the FA list to take his spot. I wasn't sold on Lyon keeping the job since Detroit has three different guys to be the closer.
I dodged a bullet. Today's gem: B Lyon (L, 0-1; B, 1) 1.0 3 3 3 2 0 1 37-20 27.00 Thank goodness that's not on my scorecard! Made some more last ditch moves today. Grabbed Bonifacio since he's opened the season as a human highlight reel. The Marlins will let him run, and I'm going to need SB stats from somewhere. EDIT: Nice. I type that [censored] about Lyon and one of my other closers, Morrow, just goes and walks the bases loaded and blows a save, turning in a 45.00 ERA for his effort. Dustin Pedroia picked a helluva week to play like ass, and Stephen Drew's gimpy hammy hamstrung my offensive numbers for the past week. I lost 5-6, winning all the pitching categories and losing all the hitting categories. In the end I came up short 1 RBI, 1 TB, and .009 in OBP. Cards/Cubs getting rained out last night didn't help, since Ludwick is proving to be a [censored]ing stud for me. I have no idea WTF Larussa is thinking only playing him three or four days a week. It's [censored]ing me off.
I dumped Hanrahan and took Bartlett last night. I need another SS and Hanrahan is superfluous since I nabbed Ryan Franklin in week one when it looked like he might get the closers job in StL. Oh, and there's that little fact that Hanrahan sucks so much he might be unemployed tomorrow. [censored] me in the ass for picking any RPs on a staff Jim Bowden assembled. Real players better pray I don't pick them. Ervin Santana ... DL Xavier Nady ... DL Jose Guillen ... DL Cristian Guzman ... DL At this point I'm dumping the injured guys and taking replacements. Yahoo was three days late making Nady available for the DL, and that margin was a big part of the difference. I might be willing to deal Bonnifacio if anybody wants him. I've got a surplus of infielders now and need either an OF or a middle reliever that can reliably get a H statistic every week.

I'm going to have to make some moves when Ervin Santana comes off the DL. I need a HR & RBI producing OF.
I have Santana, Lincecum, Meche, Buerhle, Lohse, Millwood, Lilly, and Chamberlain as starters. They have all been studs until Lohse got bombed two days ago. Make some offers, people!!! I need another outfielder since Nady went down.
