Heres some info from CBSSportsline:
Orioles let Ponson loose Sidney Ponson, SP BAL News: Sidney Ponson was released Thursday by the Baltimore Orioles, who voided the pitcher's contract on the theory that his behavior over the past nine months gave them grounds for his dismissal. Last week's arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol convinced the Orioles that they had enough of a case to void his contract. The 28-year-old Ponson, who is currently on the 15-day disabled list with thumb and calf injuries, still has one season left on a three-year deal that would earn him $10 million in 2006. Analysis: Ponson should catch on somewhere, but his talent and best judgment have been on hiatus for some time now. Ponson is 7-11, with a 6.21 ERA this season, among the highest in the major leagues. He has not won a game since June 18.
Profile
|

Cubs fan and have not been able to stand Sosa for quite a while. Skinny right fielder that could run and throw to one that was 230 pounds of complete muscle that only could hit home runs and hop at the plate. Yeah no steroids there.

Not to step on anyone's feelings here, but who really gives a [censored]?? I mean, until baseball decides to quit letting the Boss spend 200+ million, and spend more on the left side of his infield than the entire roster of the Royals, Pirates, and Brewers (just a guess, there's probably more), then the baseball gods have it the way they want it. Me being a Reds fan, [censored], man all I can hope for is homeruns and a late season trade that doesn't involve Adam Dunn. My lord, MLB is running itself into the ground, and they are still trying to find more fans. They are about to lose one, because baseball as a whole is narrowing itself to the few teams that have made its money so far. You want Reds fans to actually go to the games? Give us something to watch, you [censored]in idiot. What? Oh, the Red Sox play the Yankees in the playoffs this year? You think I [censored]in care? I'll watch Family Guy re-runs, and act like nothing happened. Aaron "[censored]ing" Boone? More like "Chloro-[censored]ing-Borophyll!!" The Reds were eliminated about 2-3 months ago. I don't give a [censored] if the Yankees win the next 20 world series. Actually, I do, but until something changes, I've accepted the fact that baseball is cool with half the league nursing off of the other half's [censored], and apparently they don't care either. Let them take steroids at this point. It might actually make a [censored]ty team decent, if thats how Selig wants it.
PS As for Sam Perlozzo, was he not a Reds coach back in the day? Good for him, hope he does well for himself. But like I said before, who the [censored] cares, it's college football season. Go Bucks |

Ok man, I'll give it up for that. I really don't care, but someone must. You are correct. I was just of the opinion that this was an open forum, therefore all viewpoints are considered. If not, Ok. Sorry for [censored]ing you off, but I feel the same nonetheless. I won't post anymore unless I am of the same opinion as that of the original poster. However boring that may be. Go Orioles
