After wasting numerous chances to win game 2 and 3 the Angels finally get game 3 to stay in the series. It seemed like a matter of time before NY would make them pay for missing opportunities, but not today.
Game 4 will be huge, obviously.

Imagine if the ground-rule double that was unbelievably called foul several days ago occurred with runners on 2nd and 3rd, two out in the ninth of game 7, with the team at bat trailing by one run. Like somebody said last week, the time to look at the replays would be no greater than the time that goes by when the managers argue the calls.

If they do bring in replay, I hope that it is accompanied by a mandatory diversion rule. 3 umpires watch the video while the 4th has to go into a MMA cage with a manger. Something like that. Or hot women jello wrestling. That could work, too.

First thing I thought was 'makeup call'. I was also surprised those words were never uttered by Buck or McCarver.
I found in interesting that Buck and McCarver spent the better part of the next inning criticizing the call that went against the pin stripes...
