You are correct. They needed the room for Tomlin. They also sent Brantley back down to Columbus. Cleveland.com/sports put in the header would have taken you to that page.

Guy was just a butcher in the field. Ridiculous amount of E's at both 3rd and 1st base. Not enough offense to make up for that (it'd take a LOT). Plus, he's soon-to-be 26, I believe. Definite failure.

I say bring Gomez up and put him in the rotation along with Tomlin and put Masterson in the bullpen and let's start all over. If these guys are for real. I see no reason to trade Westbrook unless someone blows us away with an offer. Westbrook, Carmona, Tomlin, Gomez, and one more starter for next season and we could be competitive in the Central. That's only if the two young guys are for real.
