Rays trade Iwamura to Pirates
Just when it appeared the Bucs were finally starting to build from within by stocking their minors, they go and pull a Littlefieldesque trade. Let's unload the 26 year old best lefty reliever on the team for a 30 year old light-hitting 2B with bad knees.
They just traded a second baseman with bad knees, but at least he won a batting title, and they must've have needed another one.  Rays trade 2B Iwamura to Pirates - MLB - Yahoo! Sports
