Bonds and Sheffield feud
Is there a bigger bunch of bitches on the planet? This is too funny.
Sheffield recounts being Bond's bitch for a summer.
Quote:
|
Sheffield says he woke up one morning to discover Bonds had gone to the gym without him, leaving his guest to get there on his own. Upon arrival, Sheffield found himself being ridiculed for tardiness as Bonds was being interviewed by a magazine writer.

i like how he was Bonds' bitch...he doesnt like him anymore....but he still says Bonds is the greatest baseball player ever and doesnt use steroids. in the same breath that he tells the story of how he got sold out to the media.
gee, i wonder why steroid user #1 would be protecting steroid user #2.

Barry Bonds (Juiced Merge)
"Baseball fans, like the writers, are gradually coming around. they know watching Bonds go deep is like watching the 6-foot-tall kid with the mustache strike out the side in the Little league World Series. Someone's cheating. ...The home run king has no clothes, and everyone knows it. In the end, the commissioner doesn't have to worry about putting an asterisk next to Barry Bonds in the record book. You can rest assured, Bud: It's already there."-- 11.16: Gerry Callahan, Boston Herald

Roids or not...the man can flat out hit. Personally, i think he is a prima donna SOB, but the guy can play the game.
Nice find Sears...

So he takes steroids and can hit the ball 475 feet instead of 420 feet? I really don't see how steroids can help a person hit a ball better. Can it make you run faster? Sure. Can it make you stronger? Yes. Does it gave you acne and back hair? Positively. Does it shrink your nuts? Absolutely. Does it help your hand eye coordination, vision and discipline at the plate? I don't think so.

I'm in your boat 21.
Steroids surely contributed a little to Bonds fantastic numbers, (warning track fly-ball outs turning into 415 ft. dingers) but look at the countless other players who have been on the juice that haven't even come close to touching Bonds' numbers. Like Nutty said, 'roids can only do so much.
Simply the best ballplayer I'll see in my lifetime and it pains me to admit it.

what sucks about bonds is that his strike zone is about 1 foot by 1 foot....
hell sears....you and i could tee off with the strike zone the umpires use for bonds...
it is the biggest favoritism in all of sports.....
