well he led two teams to the western conference finals, only reason the blazers didn't go to the nba finals was because of a game 6 that the nba apologized for poor officiating

Winning the All Star MVP in 97

not to mention he went the rest of his career not missing the playoffs once, o and one of those years jordan was playing baseball scottie led them to an eastern confernce finals, o and jordan has been in ONE 5 game playoff series without scottie, which obviously means he lost

scottie's success without jordan's>jordan's success without pippen that is fact, although i do think jordan is the best player ever, scottie is without a doubt one of the greatest

what happened to him at Houston. Bulls had more then jordan and pippen.They had some of the best PF'S and some true team players. Which very few teams in the NBA play like.

he went to the western conference finals in an abbreviated season due to a lockout

then he went to the western conference finals again and (according to the nba offices) got screwed out of a western conference championship (they beat the lakers, u know the team that went on to win the title with kobe and shaq) he was the undisputed leader of that team, played 3 positions and always played d on the best player

remember the first finals the bulls where in against the lakers? when magic was tearing jordan up offensively? they through pippen on him and he locked him down, pippen was a better defender than jordan

scottie is also one of the only players in the history of the nba to lead his team in EVERY SINGLE statistical category in a season pts. asst. stl. REB. BLK.

can u please tell me what the hell jordan has done in the nba without scottie pippen?

ignorance. lol If Pippen was such the main man with or without Jordan playing.Why didn't the bulls win it without him? Wow they won it a few times when Sir JordaN CAME BACK.

Look at the teammates jordan/pippen had together. Jordan didnt have [censored] for his first few years but, Pippen did and guess what, they didn't win it.

It was a team game and thats what i use to love about the nba. It changed for years but, san antonio,dallas and detroit brought team playing back.

Pippen was a great all around player but, playing with Jordan he was a superstar. Look what playing with jordan did for kukoc , harper and kerr and they're not even close to a Pippen.

Pippen was great but, in pORTLAND AND HOUSTON the teams either had to many average or thought they were the main man players. A bunch of starburys

I don't know how anyone in their right mind can compare Pip to Jordan. Pip was a great player, but Jordan was THE ULTIMATE winner. Pip would never win anything without Jordan. Jordan was the catylist, he is the consummate winner. There is no discussion here.

Pippen is my favorite basketball player of all time, but I will admit, that he just wasn't the same calliber player that Jordan was. I feel that Jordan wasn't just a great player, he made players around him even better. I'd love to see him in some kind of coaching possition. To say that the Bulls were nothing without Jordan is pretty rediculous, but at the same time, I don't think Scottie was ever an on-court/momentum leader like Mike.

Pippen was the necessary "dirty work" guy, the guy who set the picks, and took the charges. He was the guy that could break a finger in the 1st quarter, and be back on the court before halftime... But he wasn't the guy that'll put up 40+ every time he played in NY, he wasn't the MVP of 6 championships, he wasn't... Mike.

Agreed, he WAS a great player and a wonderful role player. MJ was the guy who could/would hit the biggest shot. No one has ever been like Mike. That's not a knock on Pip, it's just that MJ was just the best.
