We were never in any serious talks to get KG. It was just media spin and speculation. O'Neal would be impossible to bring in because of the contracts. Not to mention, we don't have enough tradeable talent to bring in a player of O'Neal's calibre.

I doubt Miami is looking to give up Posey, but even if they were, what would we give up to get him?

And why do you think James Posey would be the answer to any of the Cavs problems?

We should hide the women and children, tell our family we love them and then batten down the hatches.

Exactly. Sasha is basically the same player Posey is.
We basically just need another big and maybe a good pointguard at this point.
I'd rather keep Larry Hughes at point than bring in some mediocre point guard. We should only bring in a point guard if that PG is really good, otherwise I'm not sure what an average PG adds to the team as constructed.

Posey is a unrestricted free agent, And Cleveland is at the top of his list to where he would like to play...Posey is a real solid player, I would take him over Sasha.

There isn't a GM out there who would take that contract along with that player... except for Ferry.

Cavs will prob be a 3-4 seed next year and try and turn the light switch on down the stretch....i doubt booby lives up to the hype next year, i like sasha but je isn't a legit 2, and z keeps getting older
|
I also don't see them making a run like they did this year unless they get a PG sometime during the season. Z also scares me with his age.

Honestly, who in the East aside from Chicago and Detroit has the ability to be better than Cleveland?
The Heat are old as hell, and Wade gets banged around A LOT. Boston has two old superstars, one so-so superstar, and no one else.
Our competition at this point in time is basically Chicago(no post presence whatsoever offensively) and Detroit(Getting older and they're appears to be chemistry issues).
If we were in the west, I'd be worried as hell, but we're not.
We just need to get Andy and Sasha resigned(even if it's just to one year contracts, because no one is going to give them big money next year), and we have a talented young core of Lebron, Gooden, Varejao, Sasha, Gibson, and Brown.

Gooden-Not consistent on the offensive side...Has no defense at all
Varejo-Offensive side of the ball is very weak
Sasha-Sashas up in the air, Has good offense...But as of now he's iffy...Defensive side is weak, That's why we are jus now starting to see him on the court
Gibson-We see what he's capable of doing, Needs to work on the more finer things of being a PG...Next we'll see what he's made of starting a 82 game season.
Shannon-Has a whoole lot of potential...Hopefully we can see him on the court during the season...And see where he stands...
Everybody else is pretty much dead weight
