What happened to Boobie? I stopped watching sometime in the 3rd. If he's hurt they will be missing 4 of the top 7 players.

Rockets overcome McGrady's illness to beat Cavs
Friday, February 8, 2008 3:05 AM
By Chris Duncan
Associated Press
HOUSTON -- Minutes after the Houston Rockets won a game last night, Tracy McGrady was slurping down chicken noodle soup. He had been sick all day, skipped the morning shoot-around and showed up less than an hour before the game.
Good thing Houston didn't need its All-Star guard too much in this one.
Yao Ming had 22 points and 12 rebounds and Rafer Alston 17 points and nine assists in the Rockets' 92-77 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers, Houston's ninth win in 10 games. McGrady, sluggish and visibly ill throughout the game, scored eight points on 3-of-11 shooting from the field.

Michael Arace commentary: Shaq trade type of deal that Cavs envision
Friday, February 8, 2008 3:08 AM
By Michael Arace
THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH
The big news ripped through the NBA on Wednesday.
The Miami Heat traded center Shaquille O'Neal to the Phoenix Suns for forward Shawn Marion and guard Marcus Banks. This unexpected blockbuster, which went from a phone call to a done deal in a matter of 72 hours, sent tremors through every city with designs on a title, and the rumbles were not confined to the West.
In Cleveland, LeBron James met reporters after practice and said, "Unbelievable. That's all I got. It's unbelievable."
Man, you've got to feel for James.
The Cavs' slow start validated their weakness at both guard positions. The Cavs' turnaround -- they'd won 15 of 20 after their 92-77 loss last night in Houston -- validated James' prowess. Where are they now? They're in decent enough shape to make a show of defending their Eastern Conference title, but they're nowhere close to a Larry O'Brien trophy. They can hide their flaws now, but not when winter clears.

Cavaliers officials' desire to improve the team through trades continues to be hampered by a lack of tradable assets. GM Danny Ferry reportedly made an offer to Memphis for Grizzlies forward Pau Gasol, who was traded last week to the Los Angeles Lakers, and thus far has had fruitless talks with New Jersey about point guard Jason Kidd and with Sacramento about point guard Mike Bibby.

On the bright side they will be able to trade Snow, Damon Jones, and Marshall this time next year. You would think somebody would take Gooden and Newble's expiring contract for a 9-11 mil player.

So lets start Snow, Newble, and Hughes to make sure that we have no shooting.
