Boo$er or Gooden
Who do you see having a better year this year? IMO Lebron made CB better than he actually is last year and will do the same for Gooden this year. Gooden has been tearing it up in the preseason and is averaging a double double in only 24 min per game!

I don't know Hawg.
Boozer the loser actually looked pretty good in the olympics.
I hope he sucks, and gets booed in Utah.
I really liked him when he was with the Cavs, but he really showed his true colors.

If Gooden can play half as good as he showed he could in Kansas, I'd take him any time over carlo$. I knew I shouldn't have been rooting for a dookie last year.

I don't see Gooden having the same kind of intensity. Boozer was a bad, bad man on the court. As far as stats, I think Drew could pretty easily manage the 15 points and 11 rebounds that Booze posted last season - I just don't think he'll be the same kind of emotional sparkplug Carlos was.

I wouldn't discount the system Boozer was in with the Cavs... I think Silas helped him... and I think having Z and LBJ helped him... I suspect he'll be OK in Utah.. but I don't think he will be the superstar he thinks he is..
For Booz to be successful, the opponent has to worry about the center and a slashing scorer... plus with the Cavs he faced East forwards 2/3 of the time.. now he's going to face West forwards 2/3 of the time... Kevin Garnett and Chris Weber are not Kurt Thomas...

I loved Booze when he was here. He was a good player but I do believe LBJ made him somewhat better. I expect LBJ to have the same effect on Gooden. This year , at least, I think Gooden will perform well. Coming off a trade and rumors about him not performing up to his potential should spark a flame in him. That and playing with LBJ should keep him focused all year.
I think LeBron will take over the sparkplug role that Boozer had last year. I'm excited about the potential of this team this year. Hopefully it will be a return to the playoffs. If everyone remains healthy (big if, Wagner), and Wagner can find his shooting touch, they should have a pretty good season. The bench will be upgraded over last year as will the defense.
Having Varejo (sp) score 16 the other night, in 22 minutes, was a pleasant suprise.
I'm not a big fan of the Tractor Traylor move (scUM), but the other moves appeared to have made up for the loss of Boozer. It should finally be an interesting year to be a Cavs fan.
Hopefully Luke Jackson doesn't turn into another Trajan Langdon. If he can move without the ball and create his own shots,, it should make things easier for LeBron.

A bit off topic, but am I the only one who hates Eric Snow's whole game?

I love Snow now... because I remember too many times he was the cause of heartache when we played him... He had a knack for playing big in Cav games
