this is the most pathetic 1:20 of ball i've seen in a long time. 4 point lead, then you give up a three ball by finley, then nash turns it over on 2 consecutive possesions to go down 3 then amare gets a gift from duncan by getting fouled and he misses the free throw with 8 seconds left to tie the game. that was awful!!!!!!!!!!
I've said it a million times and i'll say it again. I'm sick of losing to the god damned Spurs!

Now he's injured, so that's kinda sour. But, it's a win win deal. Shaq, wouldn't have to be the star, he could play 25 minutes a game.... most importantly against San Antonio. He could re-heat the "rivalry" between he and Kobe also. I know he can't run with the Suns offense, but 20-25 mins a game would be fine, situational. If Miami would eat a good amount of his contract, then in return they get Boris Diaw..who has huge up side and is young... and a conditional 1 st rounder to help them in their re-building process.

I guess I don't follow why you would want a guy like Shaq, who can't get up and down the court anymore, in Phoenix's system? I mean, Shaq has some value playing for a team that likes to play a half-court style, but I think Shaq would die on the court playing in Phoenix.
I'd think you'd want a more mobile center. A guy like Pau Gasol makes a lot more sense to me....

Hence why I said 20-25nmins a gmae. Grinding it out in the playoffs against your Diops, Duncans, Bynums and Mings. Strictly for that final push to get that trophy... times running out. Gasol makes no sense, we have enough scorers, we need a banger inside that can block and rebound.

And as you as my witness fourteenandoh I've been parading that ficticous Shaq to the Suns deal for a couple months now. This could set up some of the sickest playoffs in a long time. Imagine the Lakers vs. Suns in the West.... dayum ratings killer... Shaq vs. Kobe II. I think he's exactly what the Suns need to put them over the top. He doesn't have to be the man or the second man... he can just do his thing and not worry about carrying the team on his shoulders. Stoudamire would benifit the most from this. Talk about Shaq, Stoudamire, Grant Hill, Raja Bell and Steve Nash. Even if he trails on plays... they take such quick shots that they'll either hit their shots... or Shaq will down there for the trailer.
Please happen!!!!

Report: Heat, Suns seek deal for O'Neal
Wednesday, February 6, 2008 3:11 AM
Shaquille O'Neal is prepared for the Miami Heat to trade him, a confidant of the 14-time All-Star center told the Associated Press last night.
O'Neal's associate, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to reveal anything publicly, indicated a move could be imminent.
"Shaq thinks something will happen," the associate said.
The Miami Herald reported that the Heat is in "serious and ongoing" trade negotiations with the Phoenix Suns. A Heat spokesman said the team had no comment, and several Suns officials didn't immediately return phone calls from the AP.

FWIW, ESPN news ticker at the bottom says "Heat agree to trade Shaq to Suns".
