You know that I usually do not disagree
with your post but I strongly disagree with this one. Wally was not starting at the end of the season and then the playoffs begin and all of a sudden he is in the starting rotation. I don't understand that at all. He was brought in for his outside shooting and if his shots are not falling he really needs to sit. You mentioned about him getting a lot of loose balls. For everyone that he gets, he turns 2 over. He does get good defensive position but he is slow. I would almost want to see Devin Brown start over him or even Gibson.
On another matter is there a secret rule amongst NBA coaches that you do not commit an "intentional" foul on a guy away from the ball if he is a poor foul shooter. If not what the hell was Wallace doing on the floor in the last three minutes of a game? Doesn't Mike Brown have any sense. Did he think Washington was just going to give him the game and not commit any fouls. Stephenson is a pretty dumb player but Brown is a pretty dumb coach. Oh, Joe Smith get the hell away from the ball when someone has it during the last 90 seconds or so of a game. You might get called for a foul.
