S.A. didn't play pu$ ball and foul Shaq off the ball the whole series last year. Take that out of play, and the Suns are still playing basketball.
That getting up and down the court game doesn't work in the playoffs (check out the champions of the past) against expirienced teams. You have to play ball, and half court when the game is on the line.
As a Suns fan and watching all 82 of their games this year, plus playoffs.... and the past 10 years. It comes down to Steve Nash not Shaq.

Was the hack-a-Shaq created in this series?
What has been the M.O. on Shaq since he entered the league? Isn't that something to question before trading for him?
You say that getting up and down game doesn't work in the plaoffs, yet it got them the Western Conference championship last year and had the Spurs beat until Amare was suspended and the Suns got robbed in a very poorly officiated game.
That up and down game did work, and it should have earned them a championship last year. They traded away one of the major pieces to the best team in the league last year.
Nash certainly struggled tonight, but this isn't the type of team Nash should be leading. He should be wheeling and dealing with the quickest front-court in the game with Marion and Amare. Not playing half-court with Shaq sitting in the middle.
And again, Shaq brought everything he was suppossed too. Rebounding, defense, and terrible free-throw shooting.
It is what it is.
