I disagree with you depth analysis....there might be 4 teams in the league that would take their current frontcourt depth over Cleveland. To have Z and Ben Wallace, with Anderson and Hickson as depth is pretty good. I don't understand the thinking that we have weak front court depth. With Ben being hurt, I agree it is essential we find a way to sure up the depth, but pre-injury, we were set.

Just an awful night that some are overreacting to IMO.

I understand that we are deep but we just don't have another big body to match up with the likes of the Lakers, Rockets, and Orlando. We need another 7'. It was exposed when we played the Lakers, Ben and the other pf's couldn't cover Pau or Bynum because they would get shot right over. Just because we have a hoard of power forwards it doesn't coverup our need to have someone other than Z who can guard centers in this league. Mike Brown has had to resort to putting 6'9" Ben on 7'6" Yao. That just makes the game that much easier when he has 9 inches on the defender. That shows our lack of size not depth, depth just doesn't match up with 7'6".

Joe Smith is reportedly nearing a buyout with the Thunder. His first choice is said to be the Cavs. There is also said to be a higher profile forward on the verge of a buyout. Early guesses were Rasheed Wallace possibly or Antonio McDyess.

Rasheed Wallace would be great. He has quit on Detroit so I wouldn't doubt he would like to be bought out. I think Rasheed wold be great next to Z, b/c Z already stetches the defense. Sheed would stretch the dfense even more for LeBron, but can also play down low.

I'm not getting my hopes up, but I think Rasheed would be a great addition.

Strategically it would be a great addition, but he's a douche of the highest order and I'd have a hard time cheering for his punk ass. Of course winning cures all...he would definately be a big help. Doubtful it would happen anyway.

read on some site that the "high" profile forward was rasho nesterovich. and that it was likely that he would not be bought out by the pacers

At this point, any of them would help. I'm not sure if I want Gooden, though. His "deer in the headlights look" on defense is pathetic. I'd be very happy with Smith.

offense has been scary bad in the second half tonight.....Delonte looks awful again, hopefully he gets it back soon. I'm surprised he played so well his first night back, and has been this bad since....

The first half was great, but starting about half-way through the third, they just couldn't find a good shot. Down 5 right now with 5 or so minutes left. Atlanta has all momentum but maybe they can salvage it. Just a brutal second half though.

14 points in the 3rd quarter, and 5 points in the 4th with 6 minutes left. I just don't understand it...

The Hawks are just packing it in on defense, and the Cavs are throwing up bricks from the outside in the second half.

Meanwhile at the other end, even Zaza Pachulia is getting to the rim.

I saw a moment ago that the Hawks' bench was outscoring the Cavs' bench 22-6. That not what you'd expect from one of the deepest teams in the league.

4 games in 5 nights on the road is tough, hopefully they can fight back and pull this one out.

it's the same exact way Houston played d as well and it gave us fits. Delonte is cold as hell from the perimeter, and Mo is having a tough getting his shot off. It's just crazy how bad they've struggled over the last couple of games.

It's one thing to score 18 0r 19 points in a quarter, and another to be held to 10, 11, 14 and they had 5 at the 6:00 mark in the fourth tonight although they're starting to get some hoops.

This has been kinda like watching a college basketball game.

With college games, the announcers spend half the time rooting for your team to lose and the other half talking about Duke.

Tonight they've spent half their time rooting against my team and the other half talking about the Celtics.
