An armpit suspension would make my weekend, but game 7 will probably keep my dream from being realized.

sportscenter question... does anyone know why they spoil every single outcome during their intros and cuts to commercials?
1) I enjoy enjoying the 30-60 seconds of drama. It's minor, but when I miss a big game, I like to get to experience a small part of it. 2) What is the point in spoiling the outcome? Wouldn't "wlid finish in Orlando" keep you more interested during the commercial break than "watch how Orlando won"? It's a pet peeve and mystery for me. |

clearly, but my sports fandom has a masochistic side.

Did anyone see the sequence at the end of the game highlights where Kobe hit Artest in the mouth and then Artest was showing him the cut on his tongue from the incident? For some reason I thought it was hilarious.
Pau Gasol has to be one of the most overrated big men in the league. One would think a 7 footer should be able to score at will and control the paint when the Rockets are using players anywhere from 6'6" to 6'9" to guard him. He should be even better when Bynum is in there. |

Same problem I have.. I am sitting here watching these [censored]tards break down a play from a game where my team lost, and I still have it on.

SC used to be pretty good about that. I remember waking up sometimes and watching highlights from big games and not knowing who won until late in the highlight, though I could sometimes catch clues when they used to have little interview boxes in the lower corners.
Not sure what changed. |

Tomorrow should be interesting, the Lakers should have closed Houston out last night, they have shown that they can beat the Lakers at Staples Center.
